Officer Tommy Davis is a 30-year veteran of the Richardson Police Department.  He holds a Master Police Officer license with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and has served in various divisions within the police department including:

• Patrol Division
• Criminal Investigations Division
  • Detective-Burglary and Theft Unit
  • Detective-Crimes Against Persons Unit
• Community Relations
  • Certified Crime Prevention Specialist
  • Area of responsibility Southwest Richardson
  • Business Community Liaison
  • Member Texas Crime Prevention Association

Prior to joining the Richardson Police Department, Officer Davis obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician/Basic and worked as a Mental Health Worker for a state hospital from 1989-1993.  He was employed in the Substance Abuse Unit and Child/Adolescent Unit.
