East Arapaho/Collins Task Force Update
featuring
Bryan Marsh, VP Global Asset Management, Digital Realty and RCC Chairman of the Board
and Michael Spicer, Director of Development Services, City of Richardson
In early 2016, the Richardson Chamber, with the support of the City, formed an ad hoc "East Arapaho - Collins" Task Force comprised of property owners and employers in the heart of central Richardson, an area dominated by light industrial, flex buildings. The 1,000-acre area is generally bounded by Campbell Rd on the north, Plano Rd on the east, Apollo Rd on the south and Greenville Ave on the west. The purpose of the task force was to seek consensus on priorities for "enhancing the economic vitality" of the area. Bryan Marsh, VP for global asset management at Digital Realty and then-head of the Chamber's economic division, was selected to lead the task force.
With the help from the area's stakeholders, community input, and facilitated analysis from Karen Walz of Strategic Community Solutions, the task force has identified actions that would make this area even more desirable in the future. Join us at the May Growth & Mobility luncheon as Bryan and Michael Spicer, the City's director for development services, present the task force's "Game Plan" that proposes a vision for the area, five distinct imperatives for the future of the area, as well as a set of priority action steps for revitalization.
Growth & Mobility is a members only luncheon. Please note that registration will close on Tuesday, May 16.
