In a joint partnership, RISD and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce have produced a forum for 7th grade students to learn more about career opportunities available to them after high school known as iDream.
As part of Texas House Bill 5, students in junior high school must choose an area of focus as they prepare for classes in high school and beyond. iDream 2020 will be the third year to produce the one-day program where 400 RISD 7th grade students will hear from local professionals from different career backgrounds with a goal of introducing new work possibilities that can impact future career choices.
iDream 2020 will take place on Friday, January 10th from 8:30 am - 3 pm at Richland College. We are seeking your support to make iDream 2020 a success.
Please consider any of the following ways to help:
- Provide an engaging employee who can sit on a panel for our students during iDream Day (morning and afternoon sessions available) REGISTER HERE
- Volunteer to help with the day's logistics, ushering students, setting up and serving lunch, etc.
- Be a sponsor at one of the several levels indicated below
