Virtual Happy Hour and Holiday Party

You are invited to our free virtual Holiday Happy Hour!  Please join us for virtual networking and a holiday happy hour.  Consider enjoying one of the following international holiday cocktails! 

The Hot Toddy (United Kingdom)
Ingredients:

• 50ml whisky
• 3 tsp honey
• 1 cinnamon stick , snapped in half
• 1 lemon , half juiced and half sliced
• 2 cloves

Whisk the whisky and honey together and split between 2 heatproof glasses. Add half of the cinnamon stick to each, then top up with 200ml boiling water.
Add a splash of lemon juice to each, then taste and add more to your preference. Finish each with a slice of lemon, studded with a clove, and serve immediately.
 
The Caipirinha (Brazil)
Ingredients:

• 1 lime, cut into wedges
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• 2 ounces cachaça
• Garnish: lime wheel

In a double Old Fashioned glass, muddle the lime wedges and sugar.  Fill with ice, add the cachaça, and stir briefly. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Shochu and Baileys White Christmas (Japan)
Ingredients:

• 50ml Bailey's Irish cream
• one shot shochu
• half shot kahlua
• 75ml milk
• ice cubes

Add ice cubes to a cocktail glass or tumbler.  Add the Bailey's, followed by the shochu, kahlua and finally the milk.  Stir the mixture until it?s smooth like velvet.
