Description

Yes, you have unconscious bias - now what?

Moderator: Taiwan Brown, vice president, Inclusion & Community Relations, RealPage

The Richardson Chamber Women in Leadership Women4Women peer-mentoring program is designed to provide cross-generational professional support to women at every stage of their career. This is a small-group discussion format and spots are limited.

Unconscious bias—everyone has it. But that doesn’t make us bad; it makes us human. While we cannot completely rid ourselves of unconscious bias, we can learn how to recognize it and lessen its impact in the workplace and our everyday lives. In this interactive session, you will move from awareness to action and learn:

  • What unconscious bias is and why it matters
  • The impact of unconscious bias at work
  • Skills to help you recognize and take action to manage bias
